Multi-unit residential apartment buildings present their own unique building and fire code requirements and thus necessitate a specialized inspection approach that goes beyond the standards of practice of a typical home inspection. Primary and secondary egresses, common areas, fire separations, fire code retrofits, fire alarm / automated sprinkler systems, etc. Our apartment building inspection will identify any potential code violations or other issues that could lead you to be liable for property damage or personal injuries to your tenants. We will also inform you on the maintenance of all of the building’s elements and the operation of its various systems and components.

More Than Four Apartment Units?
We inspect larger buildings too. Additional units are $30 each above the cost of a quadriplex, therefore a six unit building would cost $649 (four units) + $60 for two additional units, totalling $709 + hst. Contact us for a written estimate and to schedule your inspection.
